Surfrider Giving Day is November 16th

#GiveMiamiDay is a few days away! On 11/16 your #GiveMiamiDay gift will help us fund a #BlueWaterTaskforce Program to monitor beach bacteria and inform you if it's safe to swim!

The EPA under the current administration has proposed cuts which would continue to defund the Florida Healthy Beaches Program. In fact, the program has received year after year cuts for water quality testing since 2011. But we are committed to our community!

The Blue Water Task Force (BWTF) is the Surfrider Foundation’s volunteer-run, water testing, education and advocacy program.  Surfrider Chapters across the U.S. use this program to alert citizens and officials in their communities about water quality problems and to work towards solutions.

The BWTF has demonstrated success by identifying problems with beach and coastal water pollution, raising public awareness of these incidents and working collaboratively with local stakeholders to find and implement pollution solutions. Click here to learn more about BWTF

Kulchashok October Surf Report

The hurricane swells have died down, yet the waves continue in a more familiar fashion of chop. It has size and is fun, should be around all week.
