THE OREO-Last week one of our fellow waterman who is a patient of mine woke one morning and his three-year-old dog named Oreo, a cockapoo, was unable to move her hind legs. The father of two girls was obviously very concerned. Their family pet was essentially paralyzed. He called me on the phone that morning and asked me what it could be? I told him it was some sort of spinal cord injury or some type of neurotoxin that was shutting down the vital communication between his dog’s brain and spinal cord to her legs. I told him his first step was to take their beloved family pet to the vet and get some x-rays. The vet said it was indeed some spinal cord issue creating this horrible problem. The vet recommended a course of steroids and told him his dog was have to stay for observation and that it would be a wait and see situation.

For the next three days this father of two went with his daughters to visit their pet only to see their dog getting worse and worse. To make matters worse, money was a huge issue. They had already spent about $700 dollars and their dog was only worse. The vet recommended more testing in the form of MRI and possibly a neurologist (about $1500.00 to just diagnose the condition). That would have been all good except for the fact Dad lost his job a few months ago. To make a long story a little shorter the family went through three days of torture trying to come to the realization that their pet may be paralyzed. At the end of the third day they picked up their dog and before going home they came by my office to have the dog evaluated by me.

The first thing I did was say a prayer hoping that G-D would be able to use me as an instrument to facilitate a healing. The family asked me if I could help her. I told them that if I could find where the interference was between the brain and spinal cord, correct the interference thru a spinal adjustment that their dog would heal on her own and walk again. That night after seeing regular patients my new 4-legged patient was examined. I did indeed find a severe misalignment in her spine. I then adjusted her (the whole process took about 10 minutes). I told the family we would have to wait and see.

I was so happy when I got a phone call around 2:00 pm in the afternoon the next day. Oreo wasn’t a 100% yet but she was standing and walking around for the first time in few days. After two more adjustments she is almost 100%.

One of my patients who saw Oreo get adjusted that afternoon asked me the next day, how is the dog doing? I said she is walking now. She said, “It’s a miracle”. That comment really got me thinking.

In my office there are no miracles! We get phenomenal results with our practice members because I have the most powerful force in the Universe on my side- It is the power that created you. It is the power that took two cells you can’t see and joined them into one, and from multiplication and replication created a 75 trillion cell being called life. “You” This Intelligence has the power to give life, take it away, move the seas, rotate the earth, and helps you survive once you leave the safety of your mother’s womb. It helps you with every process. EVERY PROCESS!! Yes, it is the same power that creates hurricanes and storms that generate waves. Waves if you didn’t already know it are one of the only visible ways on the planet where we actually get to see this energy or power. Really cool!!

HOW IS THAT DOG DIFFERENT THAN SOMEBODY GOING TO THE DOCTOR FOR ANY CONDITION? THAT PERSON IS GIVEN A DRUG FOR THAT CONDITION TO TREAT “EFFECTS” NOT “CAUSE”. THAT PERSON WAITS, LIKE THAT DOG WAITED AND LIKE THE FAMILY WAITED.
