shayne next swell (i doubt we'll get anything worth it this weekend) but i would be down with splitting the cost of a trip only problem is im 15 so all i can contribute is money (no car) and that it would problably be kinda hard to convince my parents to let me go with some random guy but we'll see.

Don't be too surprised if we have a TD off our coast by tomorrow

WHATS UP WITH TD 3 EXPECTED TO BE A TROPICAL STORM, COMMOM FORECAST GURU'S TELL ME WHATS UP CAUSE THIS IS NOT UP MY ALLEY?

SHAYNE, ITS FUNNY HOW YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFRENCE FROM THE COLOR OF THE WATER BETWEEN PONCE AND NSI, REALLTY GOOD SHOTS I LIKE PONCE BETTTER BECAUSE OF THE WATER, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! CROOS OUR FINGERS, WE MIGHT GET A SNEAKDER SWELL, THIS IS DEFINITELY A SB SNEAKER SWELL WINDOW ON TD 3.

bertha swell hitting outer bouys as we speak, posted about this last couple days in other thread, expect waist high surf down thru juno (perhaps a tad further south) probably will last the day

TD 3 is still in developing stages, as of 11pm 31.9 / 79.6 puts it NW of the gulf stream and w/ dry air to the west, this shouldn't do anything crazy , UNLESS it refroms even further SE over the GS and this would put it's track close to a N swell, so watch and hope for another reform further East, as of now this is not forecast.

p.s be one of the few in the water saturday catching bertha round 3 swell while the winds are good (these waves are from when bertha was farting around NE of bermuda and interacting with a deep low to her east)

Cpick- I just took a peak at some webcams and it looks relatively flat. However I don't doubt your analisis one bit but it is hard to make the drive after seeing what i saw. Magic seeweed has something for tomorrow in the Juno area. Could we be one day late? Just trying to make the right call.

later,

WAIST TO SHOULDER IN MELBOURNE, COULD BE COMING DOWN THIS AFTERNOON.

Pete's picture

I can confirm, waist high and consistent at FP as reported by Rodger Dodger. He also had a friend who reported shoulder high clean sets in Melbourne.

xavi it will build down to juno/jupiter possibly palm beach public .

mostly 3-4 at 10-11 seconds on outer canaveral however a couple hours of 4.6-4.9 at 11.4 so there should be some head high sets at good spots later today.

i'm off to the water.

p.s td 3 is too far west and his fetch is mostly pointed toward the right side (north) so not to optimistic with him yet

is tomorrow morning the best bet for size?

nope late this afternoon and further north the better (and earlier) , just like last week

building nicely in martin county, Not sure if it has reached Juno yet.

late afternoon is ticket in juno, believe it.

Well I was up in Juno and Jupiter  around 2pm today and I can tell you the waves by the pier were knee high at best with like 100 kooks all over it. Really disappointing. I hope this TS pans out into something and throws some waves this way.

i drove up to fort pierce area late afternoon and found a nice spot wind was not the best but it's july.

(that was after stopping at juno around 2 also) and not finding much, by morning i realized that if the swell made it down there it would be late afternoon event (5pm) or so but i didn't stop on the way back, wondering if anyone got a visual this EVEning from juno.

Cristobal is a joke of a storm, ever since late morning Dry air infiltrated the system, and data showed a Cap in the atmosphere above 500 mb, that turned the power/convection off on this thing, of course should that cap erode, shear is minimal enough and the GS is near bye, but i am not holding my breath.

Planning to go to spanish house early. Does anyone think the swell will hold until tommorrow. Thinking I am going to catch the end of incoming with glassy conditions,
